Vote & Vow
 On November 4, 2008, you have an opportunity to "Vote & Vow." Vote for candidates who care about the environment and vow to always be politically vigilant to make sure that our representatives at all levels of government keep their promises. We need leaders willing to take the tough stands necessary to protect the environment and move us towards energy independence. This will require a national effort including bipartisan support, innovation and a national recognition that we must act NOW. Vote as if the planet depends on it - because it does!

Go Green Wilmette invites you to march with us in the Wilmette Holiday Parade on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008.

Calling everyone, young and old, concerned about the environment! March with Go Green Wilmette to raise environmental awareness at the annual Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10:00am.

Here’s how: Make a sign or display that describes a green tip, a green goal, or a green slogan. Wear a costume that draws attention to your message. Or simply wear green and march with us. The idea is to have fun and inspire people to take action and change habits to help the environment. Be creative!
Join the marchers at 10:00am at the parade assembly area at CTA parking lot at Linden Ave. and 4th Street in Wilmette. (Parade start is 10:30am. It’s that easy!
